A Contemporary Country ride from punchy dance floor bangers to tender heartbroken heartache.. Fronted by one of the most powerful, compelling and natural female voices in the game, Nashdale kicked off April '25 after Brent and Kerryn shared a stage together throwing classic hits to the dance floor.

SINGLE MEDIA RELEASE:
NASHDALE’S debut single is a lively, bouncing romp through an age-old story of hope, desire and loss, against a bar-room backdrop. Featuring an irresistible fiddle solo from Luke Moller, the song's star is Kerryn Daniel’s vocal, delivering the story sharp and direct, yet at once tender and reflective. Got Herself a Cowboy is now streaming on all the major services. Got Herself a Cowboy has already received high rotation on Australia's most popular Country Music radio station, Today's Country 94One.

Nashdale is Kerryn Daniel (lead vocals) and Brent Murphy (guitars & vocals)

Growing up in Orange, NSW, Kerryn would spend much of her childhood listening to her father’s country records and exploring her grandparents’ apple orchard in Nashdale, just a few kilometres outside her home town. Both the name and the music left indelible memories.

Based on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia, and bringing with them a rich bowl of musical impressions that always felt and sounded ‘country’ whenever they played, Nashdale started recording original song sketches in Brent’s home studio mid ‘24.. “we've both always loved the roots and branches of the Americana music tree.. a bunch of songs looking for a singer serendipitously ran into a singer looking for a bunch of songs; the match was lit”. Their first single, Got Herself a Cowboy, was released in April ‘25 with a second due in August.

Their influences are everything, and everyone, they've ever heard, seen, smelt, touched and tasted, laughed about, cried over, danced to, slept with, played with, woke up to, broken up and made up with, climbed over, fallen under, let go, moved past, won, lost, ridden, driven, drunk, eaten...
